While the Criterion Collection is indeed a collection, it is also the name of the company that distributes that collection, and therefore belongs better in Media Company, rather than edition, IMO.

Agreed, the fact that 'Collection' is in their name doesn't make it an edition.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Thirded.

TBH, I can't see what the difference is between Criterion and Dragon Dynasty (in regards to edition labeling).

But being in the Edition field does allow me to easily and quickly distinguish between my Criterion and Non-Criterion double dips.

It is practically the only Edition value i maintain locally.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!
