Paper inserts for rear cover question |

| Posted: | | | | I've always scanned the paper inserts, wheater glued on or not, for my steelbooks and all have been approved. As for the picture underneath, that's what the gallery was made for (along with theater poster and other insert scans) methinks. |

| Posted: | | | | Typically the rear cover of such releases contain NOTHING of value, the data is all on the paper, that is what should be used. How can you proof an Overview if there is no copy of it to look at, for example. Look at mine m,ight be a good answer, except that 99% of my library is currently boxed up and in storage. Plus that is the way you see it in the store, with paper visible and that is our general rule of thumb, as you see it in the store.

Skip So, to South Carolina then? On topic: I'd definitely use the paper sheet but preferably scan it while still on the steelbook (if it doesn't cover the entire back, else that's useless ofcourse and will result in less quality using a normal scanner). | | | My DVD's

| Posted: | | | | Agreed. Scan the paper. Same with those clear box sets where the only info is on a paper sleeve that only "caps" the bottom half of the box set. Include the paper in that situation too, in my opinion. | | | Last edited: by raytrade |
