Dwayne / "The Rock" / Johnson Maybe there shouldn't be, but there is a difference. We don't invent data. If the credit reads 'Wierd Al Yankovich', then we enter it as 'Wierd Al/ /Yankovich. The only way to enter 'Wierd Al Yankovich' as 'Al/"Wierd Al"/Yankovich' is if the credit reads 'Al "Wierd Al" Yankovich'. If he isn't credited that way, then we can't enter it that way. | | Posted: | | | | Just to be perfectly clear, the "Credited As" field does not use parsing. If he was credited as 'Al "Weird Al" Yankovic' in the credits, you would simply enter it that way in the "Credited As" field.
You would have to determine, using the CLT, what you should use in the "Name" field which does require parsing.
Currently, the CLT yields:
Al//Yankovic - 9 titles, 12 profiles
Weird Al//Yankovic - 15 titles, 15 profiles
"Weird Al"//Yankovic - 37 titles, 72 profiles
Al/"Weird Al"/Yankovic - 0 titles, 0 profiles | | | | Hal | | | | Last edited: by hal9g |
