Excuse me for laughing, but IMO that has to be the most absurd purchasing practice for film titles that I have ever heard. Someone really won't buy a film title because they don't like the case it comes in? WOW.

2. In the Blu-ray profiles we enter anything that is not a HD Slim Case as a HD Keep Case
3. What Nadja called a "Multidisc HD Slim" in the contribution discussion thread should be entered as a HD Keep Case. Why ? See 2.

No, that is not true. If the case was 'wrong' (meaning it has a Keep Case) I would not abstain from buying the film, but I would simply import it from the US. Since I watch movies with the original language track anyway, it doesn't make much difference to me.

Yes, I have thought about buying empty cases. Have you ever tried it, Nadja ? The covers from the Keep Cases simply do not fit into Slim Cases unless you cut them off, and I simply don't want to do this.

Btw., 8ball, I'm not surprised that someone from a country where the is no mishmash in Blu-ray case type doesn't understand my attitude. That is because you have never seen how butt ugly a mix of Slims and Keep Cases looks on your shelf. I know quite a lot of European collectors who share my opinion about this.

I have to admit that in fact I do have some Keep Case releases im my collection. That is because I got them so dirt cheap I couldn't resist. But as I said: It doesn't look good on the shelf.

I don't see that. Maybe that's how you've done German profiles, but in roughly 400 HD/BD profiles from the US and UK (where most of the HD effort is being put in), I've never seen that being done before this week.

Well, thanks, Paul! Since you are the one who started this request thread, I guess we can close it now. If you don't care about what case a Blu-ray release comes in, I guess you should leave the discussion about Profiler HD case options up to users who who actually do care.
