| Posted: | | | | So would I. If there's no physical connection between the holding mechanism of the actual DVD and the metal casing, I wouldn't subsummarize that type of case under "Metalcase" either. | | | Lutz |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Darxon: Quote: @Voltaire: It shouldn't be too hard to tell those two apart: with the metalcases or Steelbooks, the DVD holding mechanism is directly connected to the metal casing. The EzyDVD Tin-Boxes, as far as I understand it (I don't own any), contain a regular keep case with a metal box around it, so there's no direct connection between the DVD and the metal. Absolutely right... I am just suggesting this is made clear in the Rules so there is no arguing when it comes to voting! | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

I have one Metalpak myself and I have called it Custom because it's distinctively different than SteelBook. Or you could call it Steel Case and be done with it. |

I think Steelbook encompass all three types of cases MetalPak™, VIVA™, and SteelBook™, but are distinct from metal boxes and slipcovers (Band of Brothers or T2 Extreme Edition). | | | My Home Theater |

As long as certain case types are not mentioned in the list of available choices, the only thing you can do is choose custom and not the one you prefer it to be. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

| Posted: | | | | I agree it's custom. Steelbook is not a generic term, it's used for a special type or brand of metal cases. If you want to call it a steelbook, fine, but do it local. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Well, a contribution to change Custom to Steelbook, for a STARMETALPACK just got approved, think that mans we can change all TIns and Metalpacks to Steelbooks now.
