I decided to start watching my Ghost Whisperer DVDs today. I been a big fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt ever since this series first aired. I own all 5 seasons I can work my way through.

I am fan of both Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ghost Whisperer and Patricia Arquette, Medium, and the premise of the shows. Both were airing during the same years.

During the time, 1973-74, I took over the stalled program that controlled the war games computers at USAF SAC, Omaha, Nebraska, my step father was in the hospital, Kansas City, with stomach cancer. I finally got a break to go and see him. As I was getting ready to call my mother and tell her I was on my way, when I got a vision of him and he said everything was going to be okay. I called my mother and told of the visitation and that he had died. Also at per-school age I went through a past life regression. I could not have known this at that age.
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.

I just watched last night's episode of The Big Bang Theory. It was a Thanksgiving episode... the entire gang went to Howard's mother's house for the holiday. It was the best episode I have seen in a long time. I was literally laughing out loud several times throughout the episode. It was so good the episode was over before I knew it. Barely felt like 10 min. let alone twenty-some. Bernadette's father and Sheldon bonding over football and beer was hilarious. As was the little surprise from Penny.

Anyone here watch it yet?

My Thoughts:

This is the series that made me a fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt. I think she was just fantastic in this series. As was Aisha Tyler and David Conrad. This first season stuck more to the drama... it isn't until later seasons that they explored the more spooky storylines such a series can do. I really enjoyed most all the episodes in this season. And the season ends with a bang. Though I must admit the big surprise they had for the end of the first season I seen coming from a mile away. Even the first time I saw the 2 part season finale when it originally aired I told my whole family what I thought (as the whole family loved this show from the start) in part one of the finale. They all thought I was nuts... but at the end of part two they all seen I was right. If you never seen this series before I definitely highly recommend it. Some of my favorite episodes from the first season...

- Pilot
- Lost Boys
- Melinda's First Ghost
- Free Fall
- The One

My Thoughts:

I just finished watching the first season of Arrow for the first time. I must say... I enjoyed it very much. The series is loaded with a bunch of great action... and it has a great storyline that keeps your interest as well. I think the entire cast did a fine job as well. Though the series is not perfect. First off is this series is about the Green Arrow... but yet they refuse to call him this... through-out the entire first season he is only known as "The Hood". Also I didn't like how they did his mask. I mean just wearing green make-up across his eyes like a mask? No... this just not right. And this series also falls short where many superhero movies and TV Series do... to many people learning Green Arrow's secret identity. I can accept one... maybe two for the entire run... but more then that is just too much in my opinion. But despite all those problems I found another series that I love. So can't wait to watch the season 2 episodes... especially with how the first season ended. If you never seen this series... I highly recommend it.

My Thoughts:

I really enjoyed this series a lot when it originally aired. And found it fun to revisit the series again. The episodes on this particular disc really aren't my favorites of the series but enjoyable all the same.

CIGARETTE BURNS: The first thing I notice on this episode is that it stars Normn Reedus of The Walking Dead fame. It is a very strong and interesting film. But at the same time it is definitely a bit on the weird side. That... of course... is not a bad thing. This episode is also pretty heavy on the gore. More so the second half of the episode... but it is definitely there.

DREAMS IN THE WITCH-HOUSE: This is another episode that I enjoyed quite a bit. The story kept my attention and I liked the characters... and I would be amiss if I didn't mention the rat in this episode... a rat with a human face... kinda a pet of the witch. Definitely a creepy idea... and the effects was done nicely. I actually got a kick out of him.

THE FAIR-HAIRED CHILD: This one is probably my favorite episode on this disc. Interesting story... good special effects... a nice amount of gore. Pretty much everything you can ask for in an episode. I also enjoyed the resolution at the end of this one. Even if it was somewhat predictable.

These episodes was really worth the time put in to watch them. While I am glad I got this first season on blu-ray I am sorry to say that most of the awesome extras from the DVD releases is sadly missing from the blu-rays. Pretty much only got the commentary tracks for each episode.
