It's not my one and only wish, but it would be nice if boxsets could be expanded with arrow keys. This used to work with 2.x.

They can be expanded and closed with the + and - keys, however.

He uses a laptop...no numberpad on keyboard .

Laptops, with expanded keyboards do exist
It is hard to aim at the [+] or the [-] in front of a box title but when you click with the mouse on it, it does the same job.
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

If you have one request for version 3.5, what would it be...?

That Romania were available in the Locality option, and that it would be a easy function to move/copy the cast & crew list from one profile to another (would be realy helpfull when you are creating a new profile, the cast & crew don't change based on where the dvd is released  )

Be careful and always check against the actual credits, because sometimes they ARE different, for example localized role names. Especially on co-productions it is quite common that every participating country has it's own credit role.

Offcourse you shud be in a stable state of mind while you are creating new profiles, but still it would be a nice feature. They might add some warning about it ore something like that

I don't do many updates to cast/crew but I thought you could copy/past the cast and crew.

And as far as the left/right arrow. I agree. That is typical list behavior. Just because you can do it another way doesn't invalidate the request. Its nice to know i can do this with the +/- key but I also mainly use DVD Profiler on my laptop right now so +/- isn't an easy alternate. Even with a regular 101 keyboard it still requires a (slight) hand position shift and if i'm just scrolling (by up/down arrow) through my collection (to pick a movie, see if overview/picture is missing, or whatever) it would be nice to just hit left when i get to a box set and expand it. Auto expand box sets isn't a solution because I (currently) like them collapsed unless I want to see the contents of the set I am looking at

Thanks for that bit of common sense.

Find a profile from another locality, down load it to your wish list.
Edit this new copy.
Go to cast / crew (one at a time) right click select copy cast (or crew if in the crew window)
Paste into profile that you wish to create / edit.
Repeat for other (cast / crew)

While in edit mode, right click anywhere in the cast/crew list and select copy all cast/crew. In the new profile, click anywhere in the cast/crew list and select paste all cast/crew.

What would be a useful extension of this feature is the ability to only copy the entries between two dividers, e.g. for a single episode of a TV season. Also the other way around: the ability to paste cast and crew entries without overwriting what's already there.
This would make it a lot easier to create/modify disc level profiles based on Season's profiles or vice versa.

Robert:

This is easy to do, copying Cast and crew data between various versions. However, don't simply do it and Contribute the results. While this is easy to do, it is also a way to magnify and mass produce errors. ALWAYS take the results of such a cross-copy and compare against the ACTUAL film credits to make sure the data is accurate, then and only then should the data be Contributed and besure to add to your notes not only that you copied the data from Profile UPC # X, but that you also then verified the accuracy of the data against the film.

One thing I am missing is that when you add a colection, like The Rocky Collection ore The Godfather DVD Collection, it shud also add the box set contense and download this. So that you do not have to add these seperatly afterwards.

It is one thing to check the information, and something else to have to enter it all again when there is a easier way
You make a valid point tho

Personally speaking, Robert. I find it far easier and more accurate to produce the Profile from scratch as opposed to copying the data, I have tried it both ways.

You're not the only one who wants this! But as not everyone likes it, as long as it's an option you can switch on and off.
