The bit in bold.  Sometimes it works straight away, sometimes I have to click on the 'discs' tab then go back to the 'personal' tab but I no longer have to exit the dialog altogether.

I'm a bit late to this thread, but my #1 wish would be Unicode support. Second would be a switch to given/family name rather than first/middle/last, but I suspect that one would be a bit more controversial.

I still think its stupid to let the CLT decide that "Masamune Shirow" or "Shirow Masamune" is the correct "common name". All trials to add crosslinks to chinese or japanese films, for example anime, is a complete mess.
A field Given Name/Family Name would solve this problem... If the screen shows the different order we could use "credited as".

I know I brought it up before, but I'd like to manually add VHS, Laserdiscs etc. Right now it's a little difficult, since you're obligated to mark it as a DVD. So have about a simple tab like this:



Sorry about the bad photojob, but I'm at work and only have Paint Shop Pro, and it was really bad to work it compared to photoshop.

But adding this simple tab, all the people (including me) complaining about wanting to gave games, CDs VHS etc, can just write in the media type for the one they want when creating the profile.

And before people start yelling about contributions and messing up the database; it would be simple to deactivate the possibility to contribute any profile which is a "custom media". This way we could have whatever media we wanted, without any burdens being put on the Invelos team. And of course no more request for CDProfiler, VHSProfiler etc.

Also, I really liked the idea from Larry regarding being able to put "sub-numbering" on profiles.

This is DVDProfiler. Your request in various forms dates back over 8 years, it's not going to happen, in this form. Perhaps via a separate program someday, but i wouldn't hold my breath.

A separate dvd distributor field gets my vote.

I'll agree with the ones who mentioned removing well known bugs, re-adding removed features (like 4.0 sound), adding an "other" option for CoO, "completing" the language list and changing genres to a local field... 

-I'd like to see more languages and special subs (eg: for deaf and hard of hearing). I now all the languages aren't possible, so a custom entry would be nice.

-Special profile for box containing more discs (I mean by this: you select the type (eg box with 2 or more discs) and then features like languages, subs, aspect ratio, etc... would be disabled). This is easy because now some people keep contributing these things for box sets.

I'd like the hasImage tag variable for crew to work.  It works for cast, but not for crew.
