My Thoughts:

This finishes off the 3rd season of the series. For the most part this disc... even this season on a whole... didn't impress me too much. Most the episodes I didn't laugh at... at all. But at least it did finish off strong with the last 3 episodes of the season. Hopefully this is a sign of a better season for next season! My favorite episode on this disc would have to be Life's a Beach... it was just a lot of fun for me to see the Bundy family go to the beach for some reason.

My Thoughts:

So far this is a good start to the fourth season. I am definitely enjoying it more then the previous season. We are starting to see some notable guest stars with this season. This disc alone has Traci Lords, Milla Jovavich and for the Playboy enthusiasts... Brandi Brandt. Glad to see the series is taking a turn for the better.... but I still wish we would see more/better extras. My favorite episode on this disc? I would have to go with the season opener, Hot off the Grill.

Extras:
Featurettes

My Thoughts:

I enjoyed the episodes on this disc very much. I always liked how this series was such a good mixture of comedy and crime mystery. The combination makes for a real fun show. My favorite episode on this disc has to be Mr. Monk's 100th Case which of course came on the series 100th episode. One of the things I liked about this episode is that it brought back some of the past guest stars... such as Sarah Silverman, Andy Richter and Howie Mandel. While, as I said, I enjoyed all the episodes... my least favorite on this disc has to be Mr. Monk Falls in Love... the story just didn't keep my interest as much as it should have.

My Thoughts:

Over-all I enjoyed the episodes on this disc quite a bit. I am so glad to see this series come back to one I enjoy after such a sub-par 3rd season. I am still seeing some average filler episodes... but that is to be expected. My favorite episodes on this disc is the 2 part Christmas episode... It's a Bundyful Life which guest stars Sam Kinison as Al's guardian angel.

My Thoughts:

The episodes on this disc finishes off the 4th season. For the most part I enjoyed these episodes quite a bit. Though there is a couple here that I feel should have been better. My favorite episode on this disc has to be Rock and Roll Girl... I really got a kick out of Bud and Kelly trying to get on the music video. My least favorite on this disc is Yard Sale... I just found nothing funny in this episode. For the most part just found myself a bit on the bored side while trying to get through it. Usually studios try harder then this for the season finale. But over-all considering all the episodes on the disc I enjoyed it... was worth the time I put in to watch.

I finished off this disc yesterday evening. This one completes the 7th season. I enjoyed all the episodes on this disc... but think my favorite is Mr. Monk Makes the Playoffs. The disc also has a making of featurette for that same episode. I also really enjoyed Mr. Monk Fights City Hall... I especially liked the final shot of the episode. I thought it was a fitting ending. Now that I finished off the 7th season... I really need to add season 8 to my collection to complete the series.

My Thoughts:

This is a series I never heard of before finding the DVD set cheap at Big Lots back in January. I have been watching an episode or two here and there since I got it... and finally finished the set this morning. It took longer then I expected considering there is only 8 half hour episodes in the season. The series aired on Showtime (originally on ITV2 in the UK)... but I somehow missed it at that time. I found it to be a fun and interesting series... but it isn't something I could sit through many episodes of at one time. I tend to get tired of watching after a couple of episodes. But over-all I enjoyed the series... and I am interested in getting more seasons. The odd thing is though... after checking Amazon.com I learn that seasons 1, 2 & 4 are available on DVD... but there is no sign of the 3rd season. I really liked the star of this series, Billie Piper, I found her to be just adorable. Unfortunately this is the only thing in my entire collection that I have her in.

Extras:
DVD-ROM Content

My Thoughts:

It sure took me long enough... but after having this set in my collection for a year I finally finished off Blade: The Series. I really enjoyed all the episodes on this disc... within the entire series for that matter. I will admit it was a bit difficult for me to see anyone other then Wesley Snipes in the role of Blade... but it didn't take me long to get used to Kirk 'Sticky' Jones. I think he did a fine job taking over the role. My favorite episode on this disc has to be the series finale... Conclave. It has a great conclusion to the season long arc and lots of action. It also has the one thing that I didn't care for when it came to this set. While it tied up the season well, they apparently didn't know that the series was being canceled yet... so there is a good set up for season two and a cliffhanger as well. It is always a bit of a disappointment when a series ends that way. Over-all I enjoyed every minute of it... definitely recommended.

Though Only was able to tell Felix from the credits since he was dressed as an alien. My favorite episode on this disc would have to be We'll Follow the Sun.

I enjoyed the episodes on this disc quite a bit. Several really good ones. Like the last disc... there is several recognizable faces making guest appearances. On this disc we get to see Beth Broderick (Sabrina: The Teenage Witch), Lane Davies (Tempus on several episodes of Lois & Clark), Cheech Marin, B. B. King, Bubba Smith and Matt LaBlanc (Friends). On this disc it really is hard for me to pick a favorite episode... but think I will have to go with Look Who's Barking. Cheech Marin was hilarious as the voice  for Buck the dog.

My Thoughts:

Felt like watching a little of this series. It's one of my favorite current series. Though the fourth isn't my favorite season... I still enjoy it. I never cared too much for the whole angel storyline of this season. Not that it is a bad storyline... just not as good as some of the previous stuff. My favorite episode on this disc is FAMILY REMAINS... which is a different kind of story for this series... as there is no supernatural creature involved. This time they go up against the horrors of man. A horror that can be scarier then any monster.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible Five

What is it about the TV Show 24? Knowing that I will have season 8 in my collection here soon... a season I never got the chance to watch when it originally aired... I started to watch my season 7 set since I haven't had the chance to watch the DVDs. The plan was to put it into rotation with the other series I am watching now... watching a disc at a time... as well as watching other shows at the same time. But no... that don't work with 24...I just can't stop myself from watching it. I am now about to start disc 3 of the set. Seems like I will be going straight through this set without stopping.

My Thoughts:

After receiving this one today I couldn't wait to check it out to see if it was as good as I remembered from when I was a kid. Unfortunately not so much. It is still entertaining... and I can still enjoy watching it... but it really isn't anything more then an average sitcom. Through-out the entire 8 episodes on this disc I only chuckled a few times. My favorite episode has to be the 3 part pilot episode. Mills Creek Entertainment really goofed up on the packaging of this disc. This is a single DVD... and they put it in a double thick Keep Case. But not even a normal double thick Keep Case... the DVD itself is housed in a paper envelope... which is then held in place by clips in the keep case. I have seen multiple disc releases like this before... but this is the first time I ever seen it done for a single disc release!

Out of a Possible Five

I finished watching The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. last week, having gotten it fairly cheap.  With a couple of episodes sinking to 3* and a few rising to 4*, it averages out at 3.5*.  Enjoyable enough, but not great.
