Probably would get lost in all the good suggestions so far, but what I'd most like to see concerns reports.

I'd like to have a data-element available in reports for 'Media Type'.  This way I could clearly see BR titles amoungst the standard DVD's without having to run separate lists.

I would be very nice if user could deside where to locate files that now goes under
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\DVD Profiler. This is a nightmare for people using roaming profiles.

IMO, not practical. Some releases have differences in Cast & Crew which has already been discovered to be true. This is can be particularly true in the case of Director's cuts where additional footage is usually added to the release. In a case like this there may be actor's scenes that were deleted from the theatrical cut but restored in the Director's Cut...the credits would reflect this change.

no offense, but at least for me, I don't see how your comment explains how a 'Creator' field (I would think it'd be a crew credit) is impractical.

. I never mentioned the "Creator" field in my post. As a matter of fact I agree with that. I was simply expressing my opinion on the praticality of having a single database entry for each movie having the same cast & crew for each release.

It would also be problematic for things like animated releases where the character voices are replaced for each country.  For example, Tim Allen plays Buzz Lightyear on Toy Story here in the states.  But in France that character is voiced by a French actor.  How do you handle those scenarios?  If there's a clever solution, then it would be a good idea.  But that has to be worked out first.

It was my wish too, and its as practical as it could be. Current link section clearly has shown that often the same movie has dozens of profiles. All having the same Cast & Crew would supply credits for, i'm guessing, half of the database. If you do a full audit, and credits do not match, add it the same way as localised links, break the linking to other profiles.

Also this is a wish thread, the whole point was to post the most wished feature. Not the most wished feature that you think Ken could make work.

Right, even when it works for 99%, a workaround for the missing 1% should be available.
For a lot of movies which have two or more COOs it is very common that every country has it's own credit role including rolenames in the country's native language. 

No offense, I really like the idea of saving A LOT of time when auditing cast & crew, but the practical issues have to be sorted out before this feature could be done.
