| Posted: | | | | I'm going to work on the profile for Valentine's Day and the cast is split into dividers. Here's how one breaks down:
Other Los Angelinos Character - Actor Character - Actor etc etc Character - Actor Actor Character - Actor etc etc
End
Edit: Now that I think about it, I guess it might be obvious but thought I'd ask. Would I place an end divider with those actors or what? | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

| Posted: | | | | Anyone have any ideas? Do I put a group end? I would assume so as there are no end dividers for the other 5 group dividers that proceeded.
Would it be:
ACM Character - Actor etc etc
Other Los Angelenos Character - Actor etc -- END DIVIDER -- Character - Actor Actor -- START DIVIDER AGAIN? -- Character - Actor Character - Actor
(End of Cast Credits)
Would there be another End Divider after those two actors? |

| Posted: | | | | Unfortunately, no one knows. Which means: everyone does as he pleases, "first one in wins", and no consistency in sight. I warned about this exact problem when we were still in beta stage, but today there's still no answer... |

So in your set up, it would be:
Other Los Angelenos Character - Actor Etc Other Los Angelenos - ESPN Radio Announcers Actor Actor Other Los Angelenos Character - Actor
Am I reading that right? | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

| Posted: | | | | What makes this worse is after those two "actors" (it's Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic), there's only one other credit for the radio guy... *sigh* |

Would there be another End Divider after those two actors? In its current programming limitation nesting group dividers do not work. Currently a group divider ends the previous group, so ends the nest. The only way I have found to wrok is Other Los Angelinos <---group actor - character actor - character Other Los Angelinos: Character <---Group:Supgroup Actor Actor Other Los NAgelinos <---Back to group actor characte actor Character end group you have to return back to the sub group with another group divider Charlie |

Charlie So what I did here: (Sorry, I had posted that when CharlieM were posted his) So in your set up, it would be: Other Los Angelenos (Group) Character - Actor Etc Other Los Angelenos: ESPN Radio Announcers (Group:Subgroup) Actor Actor Other Los Angelenos (Group Again) Character - Actor Is what you are suggesting? |

| Posted: | | | | What I would do is drop the subgroup, just enter them as normal cast. Since we can't nest groups, I feel that this gives the closest representation of the credits. | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity |

| Posted: | | | | Looks like we're going to get a variety of opinions. I've submitted with the subgroup that Charlie suggested, but I guess if I get more concensus or if Ken chimes in, then I'll adjust and resubmit. Personally, I don't care in this case as at no time will I look at what movies Mike and Mike were in (this is their first anyway), so doesn't matter to me where this goes... | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

This was discussed Ken, I believe asked for input. I don't think that I heard a final ruling. The only thing I can tell you, is this is the way it works. You will have to decide. Charlie |

This is the same as what I've been doing. Tom |

Am I reading that right? This is how I always done it. It was how Ken suggested (not the only suggestion... but the one made by Ken) in the Rules Committee Forum. So that is what I am doing... at least until a final decision is made. | | | Pete |
