| Posted: | | | | A few TV Series have unaired pilots. Since they are technically extras, they cannot be contributed.
Now personally, I'm very interested in cast and crew of these unaired episodes. So, I will add them to my local database. I was just wondering if it would be accepted for contribution. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | I would say it depends on how the pilot is placed in the menus of the DVD.
If it's only accessible via a Special Features option, then unfortunately I think the rules kick in and it can't be sumbitted.
If however you can access the pilot from the same menu as the rest of the episodes, then I would say you can submit the cast and crew as it has been treated as a regular episode, not as bonus material. |

| Posted: | | | | Isn't there a thread for sharing profiles? You might want to consider putting it there in case someone is interested. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

| Posted: | | | | It's a shame we can't add attachments to our posts. The new ability to create profile files makes it easier than ever to share them, but at the minute we need somewhere to host them first. |

I've just done a few tests and this profile file doesn't work quite the way I thought it would. Creating them is easy enough, just select a profile and choose "Create Profile File" from the File menu. You can also create a bunch by flagging them and going via Collection->Flagged. It's the restoring bit that's a bit awkward. The good news is the files includes everything except cover images (it would have been nice as an option though...): custom roles, even custom crew are preserved. But you already need to have the profile in your collection to restore it, you can't just double click on the file and have it added to your collection. But if a version of the profile is already there, then you get the standard "compare profiles" screen and you can pick and choose which sections to have updated. |

| Posted: | | | | The idea for adding the unaired pilots was nice, but the first one I checked (Birds of Prey) didn't have any credits.
Well, maybe some other shows in the future will provide an opportunity to create a custom profile; | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm
