| Posted: October 23, 2009 1:42 AM | | | | I've just upgraded to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Before installing DVDP, are there any issues I should be aware of?
Thanks in advance, | | | My Home Theater |

| Posted: November 8, 2009 2:48 AM | | | | I upgraded from Vista Prem 64 bit to Win7 Prem 64 bit and DVD Profiler won't even start. When I click on the .exe the computer locks up and I have to manually shut down and restart. I've tried compatibility resets under Vista and XP with no luck. I had to manually delete the files to delete the program & run Regedit to get rid of all traces. I then reinstalled DVD Profiler but it still won't run. Any suggestions? Is Invelos going to put out an update (patch)? |

If it can lock up your computer, it's most likely driver related so you might want to look into graphics card driver etc. Did you do a clean update? If not, you now know why the rest of us do. Personally I never keep any data on the C drive, so I always format as part of an OS install. | | | Regards Lars | | | Last edited: November 8, 2009 7:37 AM by lmoelleb |

In Win7 a single process isn't supposed to be able to lock down the whole computer, so there might even be hardware problems. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Layouts are located in c:\users\username\document\dvdprofiler\layouts Have you tried to delete those files, then, re-install dvdpro? | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm
