I have a contribution with 10 yes votes standing since Dec 27. Another one from Jan 01 with no votes at all was approved on Jan 05. So, really difficult to find a pattern. I think the first one is pending as it concerns an uncredited cast addition. But just guessing.
As said, I haven't had a lost contribution so far. So it takes time but it still is alive.

I have new ones pending for three weeks as well, and a lot of new releases are pending from other folks for considerable time as well. So far, I beleive around three weeks was the max. time they needed. Completely new contributions need longer than changes to existing profiles, in my experience. Though to recognize a pattern probably needs an AI....

HI, I got a contribution addition for Immaculate where I got no-votes based on the rule that production supervisors are not to be listed.
Fine with that.
The contributed roles however are supervising producers.

Now: the rules state that "Production Supervisors" are forbidden. However the role is "Supervising Producer" and the rules state "Do include "Supervising" credits in the above categories..."

Now as per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_producer and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senior_producer, Supervising producer is an active producer role.
Production supervisor, as derived from the similar https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postproduction_Supervisor, is a different role.

So: Different roles, it is not the forbidden production supervisor, so the rule to include "supervising" should be correct and the no-votes uncalled for, isn't it?

if it is a first entry, then you only notice that when uploading yourself (which is then blocked)

if it is a first entry, some base info often is enough

if it is not mentioned somewhere, e.g. in a text or legal info on the cover that it is indeed the MGM vintage classic series, I would consider "Vintage Classics" the correct edition.

I put it in as a formal "ticket", for whatever it's worth. No answer however.
