There was already a disc profile for the BD in the 4K box set. I updated and submitted the audio/subtitles changes. | Posted: Topic Replies: 6, Topic Views: 210 |

The Star Trek Section 31 UHD/BD release has different available language soundtracks. The UHD disc has four, while the BD has 12. If there is a contribution rule about this, I've missed it. I haven't checked the subtitles, but I suspect the same issue.
So, are all languages supposed to be listed, or just the ones for the UHD disc? It is a combo package, which to me means both discs are of equal priority. I'm guessing that some people bought the release for the BD, a that is all they currently support, But, in the future (near?) they expect to support UHD.
I've no clue as to why eight languages were not included on the UHD disc. My guess: space. They probably could have released it on a BD-100. Sure, added expense.
Just what is supposed to be listed?
UPDATE: The subtitles are different as well. But, on the BD there are 12 languages to choose from when the playing starts, but when going into settings, there are only six. WTF? The UHD choices are the same at startup and settings.
Again, just what is supposed to be listed? | Posted: Topic Replies: 6, Topic Views: 210 |

Something tells me that the images (especially on the first page) aren't ever going to be fixed. | Posted: Topic Replies: 229, Topic Views: 87778 |

Weird, in that all but one of the contributions for this series were approved, but I never saw any votes listed.
What is really weird is that S1-D1 was declined, without any reason, but all of the other discs were approved. So, I have no clue as to what needs to be fixed, or if the decline was a mistake. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

Will do. At this point in time, there are zero votes, one way or the other. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

What does the artwork indicate? | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 1315 |

I have the Aus/NZ release. I don't think that Ken planned for a release to be a box with two, or more, keep cases that do not have a UPC/EAN. What I have done is the only way I know of in order to get the keep case artwork into the database and list the content of those keep cases.
The cast/crew is only listed with the main entry. The disc IDs are listed with the main entry and as children on the two keep cases. So, if you do not want the children, all of the necessary info is part of the main entry. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

I used the first disc in each of the keep cases for the disc ID and made it an alternate, after adding all of the disc IDs, so that an alternate can be created. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

"The 4400" is a little unique in that the box set consists of two HD Keep cases held within the box. I know, that is not unique. What is unique is that the individual keep case artwork does not have a UPC, i.e., they were never released separately as two two-season keep cases. I've contributed the configuration. It ends up being a box set within a box set. You'll see how I've done it, if the contribution gets approved. So far, there aren't any votes one way or the other. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

I don't know of a way to do this. I can't create a unique ID (EAN or disc ID) for the sub-box set "The 4400 S1 & S2" and "The 4400 S3 & S4."
Never mind! Got it. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

I'm going to contribute an alternate EAN for this series as it seems that I have a copy of the re-release, which is packaged differently. Looking at the cover, it is copyright 2021. Blu-ray.com only lists the 2016 release. Does anyone know the 2021 release date or how to enter 2021 as the release date?
Update: Nevermind. Re-release dates are never used, only the original release date. | Posted: Topic Replies: 11, Topic Views: 3476 |

Quote: As to your question about other contributions being accepted, if there were not any NO votes, that would explain it, otherwise ??? What I am trying to say is that the other 7 contributions were excepted, even though they contain the re-released cover art, not the original cover art. Why accept those and not this one?
I did the alternate ID and contributed it. | Posted: Topic Replies: 10, Topic Views: 3053 |

Thanks for the update. Just where did you find the text? Then that begs the question, why were the other 7 contributions accepted?
How can you tell that a profile is an alternate ID?
UPDATE: Found the link for vote explanation. Not an obvious link. | Posted: Topic Replies: 10, Topic Views: 3053 |

Well, it has already received a no vote, so that appears to be the end of it. I'll never know why the no vote, since the other 7 covers were accepted. I think I'm done contributing. | Posted: Topic Replies: 10, Topic Views: 3053 |

One can't create a profile only based upon the title. Contribution not allowed. I therefore used the first disc in order to be able to create the profiles. I've submitted the updated profiles, so we'll see what happens. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

I resubmitted with an explanation as to why I did so. It seems that the cast/crew wasn't different as that was not resubmitted. Weird. | Posted: Topic Replies: 10, Topic Views: 3053 |

My image contribution for S2 was declined, yet all of the other seasons were accepted. A later contribution with a completely wrong cover was accepted. I have no idea where that wrong cover came from. All 8 covers were scanned from the Charmed Complete series box set. Also the cast/crew contribution, which appears to have been accepted was ultimately deleted from the following contribution. Even though I told the profiler not to update my local copy of the cast/crew, it did so anyway.
What now? | Posted: Topic Replies: 10, Topic Views: 3053 |

I've started the ground work as suggested by @AlunH. I probably have something set wrong because when the profile is created, it sets DVD/BD/4K as the media types. No idea why that isn't detected automatically. Obviously a disc can't be all 3 media types. Also, when I uncheck DVD/4K, the no region setting resorts to region B, based on the UK location. No idea why it does that either, even though I initially set no region. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

Thanks, I'll dig into that more. BTW, the overall collection is already in the database. Just need to flesh it out. | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

The "4400 Complete Series" is actually a box set, consisting of the box sleeve which holds two HD Keep Cases. One case holds seasons 1 & 2, while the other holds seasons 3 & 4. Each has separate cover art. But, they were never released in this configuration, so there is no EAN (Australia release).
How does one create two separate entries whereby the two keepcases are entered with their disc IDs and their cover artwork? | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 4001 |

I just looked at 4400, which I have as well. Episode dividers are used for cast and crew. I used group dividers for the cast. I'll change then to episode dividers. | Posted: Topic Replies: 11, Topic Views: 3476 |

I did the copying and pasting as @huskersports suggested. I discovered that while doing right-clicking in the areas to see what I would get.
This is what I ended up with before @huskersports amd @GSyren made their suggestions:
